Bill
takes you on a short tour of Corpus Bay and upper Laguna Madre. Then, a very
nice redfish is caught. Redfishing in the upper Laguna
Madre is unbelieveable!

the boat is rocking like crazy, the trout are biting! Barry even finds a glowing
redfish under the birds!

Let's
go back time to the archive. " The Joe Kreigar and Wanda Scott fishing
show at the time was the longest running fishing show in America. This was about
1986. This was my first show and Mr. Neill Mckinney who was the Berkley rep
at the time teamed up with us. We fished April 1 and 2 and it was so cold on
April 1st that it set a record and we had to put our rods in the water to break
the ice off the rod guides. We still caught some good fish but just about froze
to death doing it. The next day the air temp was 47 or 48 degrees and I was
able to find a pile of fish ganged up at "Cutthroat Pass" by Gladys
hole at the south end of the land cut. We did not see another boat out that
day and had it all to ourselves. The barometer was falling and we had a cloud
cover and the fish were really turned on. It was a great trip and I was really
happy with my first film trip.
